Area Preview Cheyenne-Reydon girls and Turner girls by Hannah Stafford

Cheyenne girls have a record of 20-7 and are ranked #7 this season. They got a bye the first round of districts and ended up beating Sentinel an unranked team, (47-31). After that, they went on to regionals beating Fort Cobb, an unranked team, (40-23). Second round of regionals, Cheyenne faced Navajo who are ranked #19, and beat them (40-38), earning their spot in area where they will play be facing Cyril who are ranked #9, with a record of 24-3.

Turner girls are ranked #8 this season with a record of 25-3. The first round of districts they got a bye, leading them to a victorious game against an unranked team Elmore City, (58-30). The first round of regionals they took a tough loss (55-36) against Velma-Alma another unranked team, sending them to the consolation bracket to fight through. They played Alex winning (52-25). This win advanced them to a game against Hydro-Eakley a team ranked #13, with a record of 22-7. They won against Hydro (45-44), gaining their way into area where they will play Navajo, who are ranked #19 with a 19-9 record.
