Student of the Month

This Month - January 



Holli Tarpley, daughter of Jim & Gladys Tarpley, has been selected by the teaching staff at Cyril High School as the January Rotary Student of the Month. She has three sisters, Jennifer, Patty, and Sarah. Holli is active in FCCLA for the past five years and competed in their competitive events for the past four years. She has placed 2nd regionally three of the four years. She volunteers her time by going to the Regional Food Bank, the Children's Hospital, and the Ronald McDonald House. She has played basketball for three years and softball for two years. She is a member of the current annual staff. She has been a class officer for two years. Her plans for the future are to continue her education and become a physical therapist and later get married and have a family.

The teachers at Cyril High School have selected Riley Morrow as their December Rotary Student of the Month. Riley is the son of Amy & Brock McLemore and Mark Morrow. His grandparents are Butch & Sheila Etter, Betty Morrow, and the late Perry Morrow. His siblings are Raycee Morrow, Rance Morrow, and Kaden McLemore. His hobbies include hunting and playing basketball. He has been selected as "Most Likely to Succeed", "Most Respected", and "Most Dependable". He has also been on the Superintendent's Honor Roll. His plans for the future are to attend college and get "rich"!

The staff at Cyril High School have selected Rowdy Abeyta for the honor of being the November Rotary Student of the Month. His proud family includes Michelle Barlow, Titan Abeyta, Hunter Abeyta, Lena and Koda Abeyta. His grandparents are Ed and Sheila Abeyta and Lena and Butch Sootkis. He is active in football, basketball, track, FCCLA, and FFA. He has won honors that include Athletic Impact Award, Down Under Sports and Top Shot in FFA shoot. He is currently the FFA secretary. His plans for the future are to go to college and obtain a degree in  architecture. Congratulations on being selected as Rotary Student of the Month.

The staff at Cyril High School have selected Keylan Young as the Rotary Student of the Month for October. Keylan is the daughter of Jay and Tina Young. She is the sister of Grace Young. Her proud grandparents are Joe & Jane Young and Rosetta Lawson. Keylan has been active in softball, basketball, FFA, NHS, and StuCo. She enjoys showing pigs with the FFA group. She in currently FFA president, NHS reporter, and Student Council secretary. She has been on the Superintendents Honor Roll and the state qualifying team in fast pitch. Her plans for the future are to attend UCO in Edmond, get a nursing degree, become and RN, specialize in labor and delivery, get married, and have a family.

Hannah Stafford has been selected by the staff at Cyril High School as Rotary Student of the Month for September. She in the daughter of George Stafford and Leah & Jarret Mays. She is the granddaughter of Donna & Gerald Stafford, Dianne & Melvin Love, Kim & Richard Mays, and Janice & Greg Pilate. Her siblings are Tyler Stafford, Kea, Jakobi, & Christian Mays. Her activities include softball, basketball, 4-H, showing pigs, hunting, and fishing. Her honors include senior class president, gifted and talented, and president of National Honor Society. Her plans for the future are to go to Cameron University to get her basics then transfer to OSU to get my degree to become a veterinarian.
