Cyril girls have a record of 17-3. Their biggest win was the championship game for the Caddo County Tournament. They were ranked the number two seed, while Carnegie was ranked the number one seed. They haven’t had any very big losses; only losing to teams that are ranked above them or are ranked in top 10 of upper classes. There are 4 shooters on this team- Kea Mays, Paige Pendley, Shekinah Gilliam and Fayth Laughlin-, you never know who’s going to score the most any game, really helping the team advance and get wins. Their coach, Shane McLemore, is a Cyril alumni and has coached at Cyril since 2006 but just started coaching girls in 2014. I am very close to this team, this is my senior year and I could not ask for a better team.

Cyril boys have a record of 15-5, their biggest loss was on senior night against Apache, but their biggest win was the 3rd game of the season homecoming night when they beat Sterling and proved themselves to people. The team’s top players are Riley Morrow, Dayken Rackley and Cason McLemore. They put up a lot of points and work together well. Their Coach is Shane McLemore, a Cyril alumni and has coached at Cyril since 2006. I have always enjoyed watching these boys play and having them cheer us on.
